| Racing update |
Not updated the site for a while so thought l'd
give you a run down on whats been happening.
Well after a slow start to the year we dropped to
Yellow grade for May which we thought would give
us a good boost.My first meeting off yellow(At
Bristol) started really well getting out in the
lead and going on to win the race but overheating
the engine in the process!!! So that ended the
day early and meant we missed a few more meetings
while the engine got sorted.
Due to the lack of racing we were due to start
June off yellow again but once back out racing l
won my first final since Hednesford 2001 at
Birmingham on the 26th May and backed that up
with big points scores the following two days at
Bristol and Taunton including a heat 3rd and
Final 2nd on the Sunday and another win in my
heat on the Monday.
So we were back up to Blue for June and the
decent results kept on coming picking up 29
points at Arena on the 10th with 2nd in the final
& Grand National and 22 points at the British
Championship with two top 3's in the heats.
We ended the grading period scoring 149 points
and moved from outside the top 100 to inside the
top 40! so things are certainly moving in the
right direction now and will hopefully continue
to do so.
